Hello Friend!

Hello friend,

I’m Grace!

I believe I have been blessed with a special purpose in life: to help a million parents identify and nurture their child’s genius potential, enabling them to live a life of purpose and fulfillment while contributing to the world in positive ways.

Before I share my story, I want to thank you for being here. I hope to build a meaningful and lasting connection with you through our virtual interaction.

Now, let the story-time begin 😊

My Childhood:

Growing up, I knew I was different because…

I never fit in!

Many things that puzzled me from religious beliefs to the way the educational system functioned.

While most of my friends blended in, I was the odd one out.

I questioned! I spoke out! I stood up for what I believed, whatever the consequence! If something didn’t make sense to me, I simply didn’t do it.

You could have easily labeled me as ‘the rebellious, arrogant child.’

My Rebellious Venture:

After high school, I started my undergraduate degree in Bio-Technology but I soon dropped out.

Remember, I told you I questioned, I stood up, I spoke out, and I didn’t do anything that didn’t make sense?

Well, I spoke out because I didn’t like the way the professor treated me.

I tried hard, scored 92%, but I couldn’t stay in a place that was not inclusive. I couldn’t learn from the teacher who lacked empathy.

I walked out.

P.S. I went back to the same college to get my Ph.D. That’s a story for another day 😉

My First Interaction:

After dropping out of college, I didn’t want to sit at home idle, so I volunteered in my mom’s school for 3 months (By the way, my parents run a school in India). During the 3 months, I worked with kids who were struggling learners.

These kids were at the bottom, and you could have easily categorized them as having special needs.

But I was able to help those kids learn easily—not because I was an expert, but because I didn’t get in their way.

Like their everyday teachers, I had no rules. We played. We laughed. We connected. And learning happened naturally.

The Dumbest Kid:

One afternoon, I went to my mom’s office and saw a little boy standing next to her, crying.

I asked her what the problem was. She told me that he was the naughtiest students in Grade I, who never listens and doesn’t even know how to write his alphabets or numbers yet.

His teacher had brought him to the office because tomorrow was his exam, and she didn’t know what to do with him. He was just playing and disturbing other kids in the class.

I asked her if I could try. She said, “please do!”

I took him to the playground and asked if he wanted to play, but he was too scared. So, I picked up a flower nearby and started telling him a silly story about an old man whose head fell off.

By the time I got to the end, he was giggling so much that I knew I had connected with him at a deeper level.

Now that I had gained his trust, I took him to the sandpit and continued to draw & tell silly stories of stick men and old men with fat bellies. He was giggling and laughing all along, not knowing he was learning to write his letters.

You see, back then, I did not know about dyslexia or dysgraphia, so those disorders did not exist in my world.

All I wanted to do, as a stubborn, arrogant teenager, was to prove to my mom that the system was wrong.

And so, I did; I took my little friend back to my mom’s office and told her that he was not dumb after all, like how his teacher thinks.

I made him write his letters, and lo and behold, he drew those stick men and the old men with fat bellies perfectly.

She was so amazed, and to tell you the truth, at the end of it all, I threw a massive tantrum—I told her that it was never the child; it is always the adult, and stomped out.

Struggle with Depression:

When you question, when you stand out, it takes a toll on your mental health.

You feel anxious!

You feel scared!

You feel lonely!

To make things more challenging, I fell in love with the forbidden fruit—my now-husband—who belongs to a different religion 😉

Although I love my husband dearly and am forever grateful to have him in my life, coming from two different backgrounds made it difficult to make sense of our differences and make the relationship work.

It certainly took a toll on my mental health.

We got married in 2014, a decade after knowing each other.

That year, I underwent an abortion due to medical conditions.

I was devastated, yet I felt relieved.

Am I insane?

No!

I was unstable!

If the pregnancy had proceeded, I could have endangered both myself and the child.

The experience was traumatic, but it served as a wake-up call for me.

I promised myself that I would heal my troubled mind and bridge the differences we had before I became a mother again.

Motherhood:

Two years later, in 2016, the sweetest, most adorable baby boy came into my world! It was surreal yet frightening – Am I capable of taking care of a human being?

I wasn’t sure!

But I promised myself that I would take care of him, whatever it takes.

And so, I did. I played with him. I read to him. I acted silly around him. And the results were simply amazing!

He started reading at age 2. He memorized all the names of the countries and was able to point them out on the world map. He was doing 50 and 100-piece puzzles and much more!

It was mind-blowing!

I realized that I was not fully equipped to support his developmental learning needs, so I was desperately looking for a support group.

Someone suggested that we get him into Mensa (one of the world’s oldest IQ societies) so we could engage with other parents who had kids like our son.

We spoke with our son’s pediatrician, and she referred us to a psychologist.

We got him tested and enrolled him in Mensa, but little did we know that he would be the youngest Mensa member in the US.

Since he was the youngest, he was all over the media. I was happy for him, but at the same time, I had a queasy feeling because I was now becoming a part of the status quo – the idea that only some kids are gifted while others are not!

However, I quickly swept that feeling under the rug and continued to do what I was good at — teach him.

I helped him learn tons of facts!

500-piece puzzles. Check!

US states and capitals. Check!

Periodic Table of the Elements. Check!

2-digit carry-over mental math. Check!

The list went on!

Around this time, I had a YouTube channel and a Facebook page, and I was sharing all the activities we did.

Concurrently, I enrolled myself in top universities such as Harvard & Stanford to learn about early childhood education, brain development, and more!

Additionally, I also started my own coaching business in which I taught parents & educators the importance of early learning and its influence on brain development.

From the outside, everything looked fine, but within, it was not.

The Demons in the Closet:

They say demons come out in the dark. I agree!

When it’s dark, demons of the past and demons you never knew existed will appear.

The year 2020-2021 was dark for me. I hadn’t thought about my mental health in a long time.

I was busy mothering.

I was busy with life.

I did not set aside time for self-care. I did not prioritize my personal needs. I did not pause to reflect.

Meanwhile…

I was hitting a brick wall in my business—I was losing thousands of dollars.

We were expecting baby #2, and I was terribly sick for most of the time.

The result: I was spiraling down and out of control.

Of course, I continued to make learning fun for our son because that is what I thought was important, but I was also becoming a nasty person—frequent guilt trips, yelling episodes, and I even used spanking. (I never thought I would ever hit my child, but I did. I was just repeating patterns that I memorized from childhood).

I felt like a hypocrite.

I felt like a victim.

I felt I was a failure.

It was then that I started to realized how superficial I was in parenting and life.

Of course! Early learning is critical to a child’s brain development, but there was more to the story, more to life!

I still remember, one Saturday afternoon, my husband took our son out for grocery shopping.

I locked the door, sat on the couch, and burst out in tears.

I cried for more than an hour.

That day, I asked some really deep questions – questions I never asked myself in a long time.

“What does it really take to raise a successful human being?”

“Is high IQ alone enough to be successful in life; what else is needed?”

“How can I become a calm, confident, and competent mother?

“How can I create a healthier and more nurturing environment for my child?”

“What rituals can I establish to create a sense of stability and connection within our family?”

I did not have all the answers that day, but I was determined to find them.

I was done parenting shallow. I was done following the crowd. I was done having demons in my closet.

I was now ready to learn, ready to evolve, ready to become the nurturer I was truly meant to be!

My Journey to Self-Discovery:

My journey to self-discovery began that same day.

I reached out for help!

I found some amazing mentors who helped me get to the other side of the tunnel.

I dedicated thousands of hours to learning about brain development, parenting, relationships, mental health, and inner growth.

And what I learned was truly transformative!

I began to realize how a child’s development and their life are shaped by early experiences, both visible and invisible.

Visible experiences, such as early learning and brain development activities, form the outer layer of a child’s developmental journey. These are the tangible building blocks that contribute to skills, knowledge, and social interactions.

However, beyond these superficial elements lie the invisible forces, such as the quality of relationships, emotions, habits, self-identity, intricate processes of learning, and the parents’ own growth and well-being, which intricately shape a child’s overall development.

To truly raise a successful human being, everything is important, especially the aspects that you cannot see.

But the irony is, we often overindulge with the visible but overlook the invisible because they are not readily apparent to our conscious awareness.

No wonder you don’t see many people talking about it!

But it’s time to change that narrative!

The Genius Nurturer:

“Everything in life happens for a reason and a purpose, and it serves you.”

– Tony Robbins.

Whatever happened so far–my rebellious childhood, my natural gift of connecting and teaching kids, years of grappling with depression, struggles of motherhood, and my journey of self-healing-it all made complete sense!

I had a message to share with the world!

Once again, I decided to… speak out, question the status quo, stand up for children, and stand up for the truth!

This time, however, I was no longer that immature, impulsive kid of the past. I had evolved into a mother, a nurturer, ready to do anything to provide the BEST for her kids!

My Mission:

“Everyone is born a genius, but the process of living de-geniuses them.”

– Buckminster Fuller

Every child is a born genius, born with unlimited potential just waiting to be discovered.

Unfortunately, our education system is not designed to nurture individual interests, talents and abilities; it is designed to cater to the masses.

We cannot change our education system but we can begin the journey of nurturing our child’s genius at home.

Keep in mind, as previously noted, a child’s development is shaped by both visible and invisible forces. Awakening a child’s genius potential beings with recognizing all forces that influence it.

This implies that it’s not merely about engaging in early brain stimulation activities or focusing solely on IQ or academics; it also includes fostering positive connections, instilling healthy habits, developing positive self-concept, understanding the dynamics of emotions, nurturing the caregiver’s personal growth and development, and more!

Therefore, my mission on this planet earth is….

To help one million parents unlock their child’s genius potential by raising their awareness and tapping into their own inner genius.

The Genius Nurturer Framework:

To support my mission, I designed the Genius Nurturer Framework which goes way beyond conventional early brain development and parenting methods.

This framework integrates Whole Brain Acceleration and Holistic Parenting strategies to empower parents with the knowledge, tools, and support essential to not only accelerate brain development and holistic child growth during the early years but also for enhancing the quality of parenting and overall living.

My Big Twofold Vision:

Over the past few months, I have had the honor of guiding and mentoring thousands of parents & educators worldwide through my webinars, workshops and courses.

It has truly been a blessing to witness the transformational shift in parents’ mindsets and the magical results they witness in themselves, their children and their families.

In today’s fast-paced digital world, where its easy to focus solely on visible factors that influence brain development and well-being, the principles of the Genius Nurturer Framework offers holistic approach. It brings to the parent’s awareness the significant impact of invisible forces on a child’s development and their future as well as on the quality of their parenting and overall living.

So my big vision is….

To create a world where everyone’s unique gifts and talents are recognized, nurtured and celebrated, cultivating a sense of purpose and fulfillment in life.

If you are ready for this adventure, I welcome you to join me in this mission!

Let’s work together to bring forth the inherent genius potential in all of us so we can live a more meaningful, purposeful, and fulfilling lives.

Here’s to an extraordinary journey of learning , growth, and discovery of genius!

Cheers,

Grace
